THE HISTORY OF THE REGULATORS

During the spring of 1994, after months of speculation and
talk, 24 Brothers gathered to discuss history. The
Regulators™ Motorcycle Club.  Prior to this meeting, we
made many trips as a group to bike events within the
surrounding area, as well as set fire to Atlantic Beach  main
strip with wheelies and burn outs 15 years ago before Bike
week became as big as it is now.  During those years
and up to now we grew up, but as we matured physically,we
matured as friends bonding closer with one another.  Many
of us began hanging out with the older motorcycle
clubs.  We observed what type of organization they had and
made up in our minds this was something we wanted to do.

When we met on that Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm, we
were certain that the legacy would begin that day.  In regards
to the older clubs around Greenville (Chosen Few M/C, Steel
Wheels M/C, Greenville Rattlers M/C) they were
great clubs but we had a different vision that was very
important to us€¦a different identity.  24 brothers gathered
that day exchanging views on what direction the
organization would go.  After hours of meeting, it was time to
discuss the club name and club colors.  Many names were
discussed:  Kawboys, Dog Pound, Buffalo
Soldiers, etc., but The Regulators™ was decided on because
of many reasons.  One reason historically, back in the days
of Billy the Kid, the famous outlaw bank and train robber, he
rode with a  Posse.  The Regulators™.  In terms of this
organization, we do not uphold unlawful acts, but one must
respect the respect those men had during that era.  They
rode the countryside with a mission in mind
and so do we.  That day birth our organization.  Our colors
from day one have been purple, red and black.  Our motto,
My Brothers Keeper.  We elected our
first officer and we hit our community hard.  Over  the past 6
years, our club as continued to be a steadfast rock withinour
community.  The original 24 set the standards that our
organization now lives by.  Although many of the original 24
are no longer with us, their names and deeds will never be
forgotten. Their
blood will forever run purple
